H Welcome To Our Site

My name is Paul Hipkiss and I live in Churchdown, Gloucester, a very pretty part of the English countryside. I am currently employed by the Civil Service working in the IT industry, having previously spent 23 years in the Royal Air Force. Toward the end of my career in the RAF  I became disabled with Osteoarthritis of the lower lumbar spine.

I became interested in building websites when my knowledge of computing improved, and I wanted to offer something back to the community I live in. Churchdown offered my son an opportunity to play football at quite a high level at the age of 8, and he spent the next 8 years playing regular matches. The football club is a charitable organisation and relies solely on the assistance of parents to manage and coach the children. I built them a website to give more information about the club and eventually took more of an active role by joining the committee.   Please feel free to visit
http://www.hagar11.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk  the children would be honored.

I am pleased to be working with the Trustees of MS Friends UK by building and maintaining this website.  I enjoy a challenge and they enjoy giving me a headache!! This site will be linked to Gloucestershire Beehive Community Society once it is complete and uploaded. The link is a very good starting point for people living in Gloucestershire as it is part of a major UK web service, and it will give more publicity to the plight of MS sufferers and their carers.

Over the coming months, I shall be adding more to the site of  MS Friends UK and our Trustees will welcome your comments and ideas. Contact them at : msfriendsuk@aol.com

Thank you for taking the time to visit us.

Kind Regards - Paul
